The One Where They Reunite During The Holidays! Friends costars Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow had a sweet reunion on December 23. Lisa, 53, and Courteney, 55, posed for a picture and referenced the Beastie Boys song, “Egg Man.”
“Again Court??? #oops #loveyourself” Lisa captioned the selfie, in which Courteney had an egg painted on her forehead. Courtney also shared a video that documented the face paint transformation. “Had my face painted at a Christmas party last night. No one got it. Really understood the meaning of the phrase,” she wrote.
Friends fans flocked to the comments section in excitement over the Monica and Phoebe reunion. “Happy Christmas Eve Eve!” many users commented, referencing Lisa’s famous line about December 23. “LOVE SEEING YOU TOGETHER” another fan wrote. “Eggcited to see you both together!” a third chimed in.
In October 2019, the Friends cast also got together to welcome Jennifer Aniston to Instagram. Courteney, Lisa, along with David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc got together for a fun selfie. “And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM” she captioned the photo.
Courteney also reunited with Matthew, 50, on November 7 for a lunch date. “Guess who I had lunch with today....I KNOW!! Could I BE any happier?” she captioned the selfie with the hashtag “real friends.”
It appears that these social media reunions may not be the only get-togethers for the Friends cast. “Talks are currently underway for an unscripted reunion special,” an insider told The Hollywood Reporter, however, the publication made it clear that details are “far from done and agreements with cast and creatives still need to be hammered out.” Series creators David Crane and Marta Kauffman are also in talks to work on the special.
During an October appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer, 50, spoke about a potential reunion special. "We would love for there to be something, but we don't know what that something is. So we're just trying. We're working on something,” she teased. According to reports, the show would be available to stream on HBO Max.
