'Fuller House' Star Andrea Barber Gets Candid About Depression, Anxiety & Divorce In New Memoir

Andrea Barber is coming clean about her life after starring on the hit ABC sitcom Full House. The actress burst intothe spotlight when she starred as Kimmy Gibbler, the neighbor of the Tanner family, when she was only 11-years-old. In her new memoir, Full Circle: From Hollywood to Real Life and Back Again, she dives into what it was like being a child star and the dark moments that came with it.

The book also focuses on her exit from Hollywood in 1995 after the series ended and her subsequent return for the sequel, Fuller House, almost 25 years later.

Full Circle digs deep into the mother of two's experiences in the spotlight and why she left Hollywood after the show's finale to attend college. “Writing it all down on paper forced me to examine my life from a new perspective,” she said. “In that sense, it was very cathartic to write; it made me realize how far I’ve come in my 42 years of life.”
