Prison is certainly treating Teresa Giudice well! The Real Housewives of New Jersey star’s daughter Gia Giudice opened up about her first visit to Danbury over the weekend – and the teen admitted that her mother is doing better than expected!

The 14-year-old revealed, “It’s nothing like anyone would expect. It was fun!” Last week, a former Danbury inmate revealed that the reality star is living in a laid-back facility that includes bar-free cells. With only 250 to 300 inmates, the ladies can participate in activities such as taking relaxing walks and having picnics! Sounds fun to us!

Although behind bars, the songstress dished that Teresa is still keeping up with her glam appearance. She said that her mother, “just had her makeup done” and looked “so good.”

Reporting to prison on Jan. 5 for fraud charges, it took two weeks for the Bravo star’s husband, Joe Giudice, and four daughters, Gia, 14, Gabriella, 10, Milania, 8, and Audriana, 5, to visit. An insider told Us Weekly that the delayed reunion was because “the girls have significant activities and Teresa didn’t want to disrupt that.”
