Get it together, United Airlines. The troubled airline is facing backlash yet again, and this time, a Hollywood actor came forward with disgraceful claims. Outlanders star Graham McTavish took to Twitter to reveal that not all the employees are taking the reprimands they've received lately as seriously as they should be.

As previously reported, the airline has had quite a few issues recently, in regards to ensuring the safety of passengers' pets. Just days ago, a French bulldog died after its owner was told to put the 10-month-old in the overhead bin, despite it being against protocol. And just days later, Graham, who was on a United Airlines flight, heard flight attendants saying some pretty awful things about the tragedy.

The actor tweeted, "Sorry, but my journey with today was rubbish. crew on the NOLA/ Chicago leg making jokes about dogs in the overhead, and then plain rude on the delayed Chicago/Vancouver flight 'If you want lunch you’d better get that table out.' Just makes a bad experience worse guys."

In a statement to People, United spokesperson Maggie Schmerin said the airline “reached out to our customer to get the facts and will investigate with everyone involved.”

Last week, Catalina Robledo boarded a United Airlines flight on Tuesday from Houston to New York, and a passenger seated behind the pet owner told The New York Times, “The pet owner was very adamant that she did not want to put the pet carrier up above,” Ms. Gremminger said. “She was saying verbally, ‘My dog is in here, no, this is my dog.’ The flight attendant, in response, just continued to ask her to put it above because it was a hazard where it was, it was a safety emergency, someone could trip.”

When they reached LaGuardia, Catalina said, “I grabbed him on the floor and said: ‘Kokito breathe, breathe,’ but he was already dead.” So the fact that any United Airlines staff is making jokes about this is quite unsettling.
