Heather Locklear has spoken out regarding reports that she has entered rehab for the fifth time.
In a statement to People magazine, Heather said, “I am feeling great and am taking steps to enrich and better my life. Currently I am working on tying up some loose ends regarding certain issues so I can hit 2017 full steam ahead.”
Those loose ends may be in reference to Heather’s long struggle with drug and alcohol abuse. In 2012, she was hospitalized, after reportedly mixing alcohol and prescription medication. She also completed a 30-day rehab program in 2010, and before that, had been treated for anxiety and depression back in 2008.
RadarOnline.com originally reported Heather’s rehab news on Monday evening, revealing the actress had suffered a “breakdown” over the holidays. “When she came in, she was drunk and on pills, crying and screaming,” a source told the site exclusively. “She had to be helped because she was so f****d up!’
“Heather’s in a bad place again,” another source explained. “Hopefully, this time she’ll get the help she needs.”
