Say it isn’t so! Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie may have split a year ago, but the couple still seemed very much in love on family vacations and handholding nights out. But the duo is now officially calling their marriage quits.
The Lizzie McGuire alum cited irreconcilable differences and asked for primary custody of their 2-year-old son Luca.
The actress and former hockey pro announced their split in January 2014 after three years of marriage. But they were still very much on, as they were spotted holding hands at a Halloween bash after months of family vacations and cozy trips to Coachella.
When asked about her relationship with her estranged husband in September, she said in a radio interview, “I mean, if there wasn’t a chance for getting back, I think we would’ve filed for divorce.”
So what caused Hilary's change of heart? The Daily Mail reported that the hockey player partied the night away with tequila shots sans his wedding ring in Beverly Hills. A source told the website, “I watched him as he blatantly and repeatedly hit on his waitress. I’m sure she was extremely embarrassed because other customers and staff saw this. She handled it well, remaining kind and professional.”

The eyewitness added, “Mike would not go to his table. Instead, he reaches into his wallet and pulls out hundreds of dollars,” the source said. “He asked the nice woman at the bar, ‘Ok. How much? How much do you want? I have as much as you need. How much for sex? Name your price. How much do you want to have sex with me?’”
