Congrats are in order for Hilary Swank and her now husband Philip Schneider! The two got married recently in a gorgeous ceremony in the Redwoods in California. Read on to find out all the details!
As documented in a new interview with Vogue, Hilary and Philip’s forest wedding looked like it was right out of a classic romance novel. The actress marveled about the ceremony during the interview: “It was timeless. There is just no other way to describe it.”
She added, “I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true.”
Those loved ones included her dad Stephen, who walked her down the aisle just a few years after having a lung transplant, and bestie Mariska Hargitay, who was her maid of honor.
Meanwhile, over on the groom’s side, Philip’s BFF and Supernatural star Misha Collins recited a touching poem that he wrote for the couple for their special day.
As shown on Vogue’s Instagram, the 44-year-old bride wore a stunning Elie Saab gown as Philip donned a dapper black tux. “I wanted something romantic that felt as timeless as the redwood grove where we were to be married, and he delivered — designing something that far surpassed my greatest expectations. It was everything I imagined and more,” she told the magazine.
