It’s been over a week since Chris Soules crashed into the back of a tractor, killing the driver Kenneth Mosher. While Chris and his legal team are currently preparing for their next court date, as the former Bachelor was charged with leaving the scene of an accident that resulted in one death, recently revealed new details surrounding the case and crime scene photos.

“The wreck was a high-speed, high-impact collision," an eyewitness on the scene told Radar.Kenneth was described to have been sitting high up in the slow-moving vehicle when the impact propelled him into a 10-foot ditch.“When he hit the ground it is believed he died on impact,” the insider said.

According to the source, the 66-year-old’s death was “not pretty,” as he had been hauling a trailer with farm equipment behind him and was covered in debris when he was found. “It was really gruesome,” the insider admitted. As OK! readers know, during the former Bachelor star’s 911 call he can be heard telling the dispatcher that blood was coming out of Kenneth’s mouth.

OK! previously reported that the State of Iowa accused Chris of purchasing alcohol before the fatal crash. Empty and partially consumed open alcoholic beverages were also located in his vehicle. While it is unclear if the beverage belongs to Chris, an empty beer can even be seen in one of the crash scene photos.

“He didn’t appear to be visibly stumbling, falling down, drunk or anything like that, but he definitely did smell of alcohol,” an eyewitness at the scene told Radar. “If you smell Wild Turkey liquor on someone it is very distinctive. There is no way a sober person could have gotten into this motor vehicle accident. Especially a sober person that has lived in Iowa all their lives.”
