PHOTOST.I. Addresses His Scandalous Comments About Daughter's Virginity On Jada Pinkett Smith's ‘Red Table Talk’
For Red Table Talk’s upcoming episode, Jada Pinkett Smith sat down with rapper T.I. In doing so, the Atlanta native, 39, addressed his controversial comments regarding his annual trips with his 18-year-old daughter Deyjah to the gynecologist.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight on Monday, November 18, Jada, 48, spilled the beans about her upcoming guest. "My next big guest is Tip. T.I. is coming to the table. Yes indeed," she revealed. "And of course, he's going to address the controversy that has been swirling."
In addition to T.I., Jada also spoke to his wife, Tiny Harris, on how his family survived the scandal. On Sunday, November 17, Deyjah deactivated her Instagram account, which had a total of 1.5 million followers. "We just shot that episode of Red Table Talk today," Jada shared. "And then T.I. and Tiny sit down and talk about how they survived, in regards to their marriage. So that will be next Monday."
Following T.I.’s shocking announcement, many shared their thoughts on the situation. The Real cohost, Jeannie Mai, caught backlash from fans after she agreed with the rapper’s parenting style. Later on, Jeannie, 40, clarified her statement.
“I watched over the clip and I realize I should have been more clear about my ‘support’ of T.I.,” she wrote. “I DO NOT agree with the extremity of invading a woman’s personal body ever. I’m also not in T.I.’s family to speak on how he raises his kids. What I truly meant is that I EMPATHIZE with what fathers go through to ensure their daughters are safe in today’s world,” she wrote while responding to a fan’s comment on Instagram.
Throughout the course of Red Table Talk’s run, the show has addressed several scandals. Back in March 2019, Jordyn Woods sat down with Jada after news broke that she cheated with Khloé Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
