Apparently being associated with the famous Kardashians is not all it is cracked up to be — just ask James Harden! The NBA star, who famously dated Khloe in 2015, is now admitting that getting out of their relationship was definitely for the best.
The two seemed to be hot and heavy, as they were often seen together and he even attended a number of family functions, including Kylie and Kendall’s high school graduation and Kylie’s birthday bash. So it was confusing as to why they split, though many speculated it was due to Khloe's close ties to her ex-husband Lamar Odom. She ended up taking care of him while she was with James since he ended up in a coma after having way too much fun at a brothel in Nevada.
But now James is revealing that the real reason behind the shocking end of their union was because of all the attention.

“I feel like it was for no reason,” he told Sports Illustrated, though he didn't say Khloe's name directly. “I wasn’t getting anything out of it except my name out there and my face out there, and I don’t need that."
"It wasn’t uncomfortable, but it wasn’t me," he continued. "I don’t need pictures of myself when I’m driving my car. Who cares? What shoes am I wearing? Who cares? Where am I eating? Who cares? It was unnecessary stuff that I think trickled down to my teammates. I had to eliminate that.”
