Jamie Foxx is a member of a very exclusive club ... the mile high club! The actor admitted to having sex on an airplane during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The talk show host also quizzed the Just Mercy star about his dating life, social life and much more during a hilarious round of "Burning Questions."
Jamie, 52, attempted to use humor to get around the question after Ellen asked if he was a member of the mile high club. "Am I a member of the mile high club? That means you get high when you're in the plane? Yes, I smoke. I smoke it up," he joked. "That's not what that means, and you know it," Ellen responded while pushing for an answer. "Yes, I am," Jamie admitted.
Ellen also asked Jamie when was the last time he "partied all night long," and he claimed that his life has been one big party since his birthday on December 13. "I am still at the party. I partied all night long. My birthday was Dec. 13, I have been sleepy and slightly drunk since Dec. 13. Every night. I'm like Leonardo DiCaprio," he quipped.
Jamie declined to give a serious answer when Ellen asked him what his perfect date would be. "Oh, man. Reading scriptures. Just trying to get closer to the Lord. Hallelujah, Lord Jesus. Trying to be faith tonight, will you save me, Lord Jesus," he said.
As OK! readers know, Jamie and Katie Holmes split after six years together in August 2019. The former couple never publicly provided a reason for their breakup, but Katie was reportedly sick of his partying and doing long distance.
"Jamie and Katie have been arguing nonstop over his partying. For months he’s been promising to calm his wild ways, but nothing’s changed and she’s finally come to the conclusion that she wants to be with a guy who’s more mature and ready to settle down,” a source told In Touch at the time. "She also can’t keep an eye on him when he’s in LA and is fed up with doing the whole long distance thing so gave him an ultimatum — either move to NY or it’s over! He refuses to leave his hometown so she called it a day. They’ve been on and off for a while, but Jamie always manages to talk Katie into giving him another chance. Friends are hoping that she doesn’t take him back this time around," the source added.
Right after he called it quits with Katie, Jamie was linked to singer Sela Vave. He insisted nothing romantic was going on between them and maintained that he was just helping her get her music career off the ground. Sela was one of the guests at his birthday party at Hollywood hotspot Warwick in December.
