Jamie Foxx saves the day! The actor is being dubbed a real life hero after rescuing a 32-year-old man from a burning truck, which blew up seconds after Jamie pulled the driver out!

On Monday, Brett Kyle of Newbury Park was speeding when he crashed his car around 8:30pm, but fortunately in front of the actor’s house. The car ended up rolling over multiple times, authorities told ABC, after it struck a drainage pipe and concrete.

Jamie, 48, later spoke about the scary rescue, and explained, “He has EMT scissors. He his friend hits the window, clears the glass, and I climb in and I try to hit his seatbelt, but he’s hovered over— so the seatbelt is on him.”

“So I grab the scissors from him, cut the seatbelt, but it’s on his neck. So I cut it off his neck and as the flames do come into the cabin, I lean back. But I think what it did—it hit his legs, which made him extend. And when he extends, he extends out of the cabin. I pull him out and as we pull him out 5 seconds later the truck goes up.”

Brett’s father got emotional as he spoke about his son’s rescue. “It doesn’t matter to me who it was or what they do for a living or whatever. Just the idea that someone would do that is so much more than I could fathom.”
