Jana Duggar is 29! To celebrate her birthday, fans are begging the Counting On star’s family to get her a husband, or at the very least a courtship!

On January 12, Jana and her twin brother John-David entered the last year of their 20s. Their parents acknowledged the big day with a gushing post on Facebook.

While most fans left comments wishing the twins a happy birthday, one gave the Duggar family a gift suggestion for Jana. “For Jana’s birthday, how about giving her a husband,” the follower wrote.
Jana’s single status gets a lot of attention. Her four younger sisters Jill, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy-Anna are all married with kids (plus Jessa has a third on the way!) and her twin brother John-David said “I do” in November 2018, leaving Jana to be the oldest unmarried Duggar still living at home.
Fans have even speculated Jana isn’t getting married because she’s secretly dating her best friend Laura DeMasie. However, the latter firmly denied the rumor on Twitter.
A few days before her birthday on January 10, Jana took her first step toward embracing her single life: she launched her own Instagram account! Fans even wondered if it meant she was about to announce a courtship, but her sister Jessa shot down those rumors.
While it’s unique for a Duggar daughter not to get married young, plenty of fans supported Jana’s decision not to rush into marriage. “Why do the majority of people think that every woman needs a husband?” a fan questioned. “Really, get a grip..it is 2019, not 1920. Women have become independent and rightly so, proud of it. Go Jana!”
