Jason Mraz recently opened up about his sexuality during an interview with Billboard. Read on for more information about the singer’s revelation!
The 41-year-old explained that it was actually his wife, Christina Carano, who helped him understand and put a name to his sexuality.
“I’ve had experiences with men, even while I was dating the woman who became my wife. It was like, ‘Wow, does that mean I am gay?’” he said.
That’s when Christina stepped in to enlighten the “I’m Yours” singer. “My wife laid it out for me. She calls it ‘two spirit,’ which is what the Native Americans call someone who can love both man and woman. I really like that,” he continued.
Back in June, Jason wrote a poem for Pride Month which ended with “I am bi your side.”
The poem immediately fueled speculation, but he admitted that he “didn't realize it was going to be so telling.”
