Jennifer Lawrence and Cooke Maroney plan on walking down the aisle sooner than fans may think! The Academy Award-winning actress and art dealer are reportedly getting married on Saturday, October 20 at a swanky Rhode Island venue. The reception will be filled with delicious gourmet food and specialty cocktails. Jennifer, 29, and Cooke, 34, got engaged in February and were seen at the New York marriage bureau in September. Here’s a breakdown on their big day!
According to reports, Jennifer and Cooke hired wedding planner Mark Seed to arrange an “elaborate affair” for 150 guests. The swanky Rhode Island venue has yet to be revealed. Specialty cocktails have been picked and handcrafted for the reception. They are reportedly classic bourbon old fashioned cocktails, along with gin, cucumber, and lavender champagnes.
Guests will be greeted with mouth-watering arrays of food which will include sweet potato flat cakes, Brussels sprouts with cured egg yolk, smoked pork belly with pickled apple and salt cod beignets. For the main course, guests are expected to choose between wood-roasted fish with herbs and lemon infused butter, or a five-week aged leg of beef served with forager’s sauce and all the trimmings.
The gourmet spread doesn’t stop there. For dessert, guests will enjoy a fire-baked sourdough bread pudding with chocolate, salted caramel and fresh apple, cauldron fritters with bourbon cream and cinnamon sugar, along with house-made marshmallow s’mores.
The Silver Linings Playbook actress and her beau sparked marriage rumors in September, when a source revealed to Us Weekly that they were at the New York City marriage bureau together.
Jennifer and Cooke got engaged in February. They reportedly started dating in June 2018, and moved in together earlier this year.
The American Hustle star also shared her Amazon wedding registry in late September. It’s full of life’s essentials, from a fondue machine and espresso maker to a pizza stone and weighted blanket.
Not much is known about J-Law and Cookie's guest list, but attendees are sure to be treated to a mouth-watering menu at an affair to remember.
