Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino appears to be having a blast during his 8-month prison sentence for tax evasion. His Jersey Shore costar, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, claims he’s “having the time of his life” while behind bars. Read on for all the details.
“It's like he’s in a senior home, he's playing Bingo, he's helping people recover in jail," Nicole, 31, told E! News.
"We all talk to him through an email, so I talk to him like once a week. He's in the gym a lot, so he's probably gonna come out ripped.”
At the end of the day, Mike, 36, seems to be doing ok amid his time away. “But he's doing...he's doing good in there,” Nicole said.
Mike began serving his 8-month prison sentence for tax evasion on January 15. He’s scheduled to be released on September 13, 2019.
RadarOnline.com reported that he’s writing a shocking prison tell-all during his time behind bars.
“Mike has been keeping an extensive diary, and has been writing about his experiences every day,” a source close to Mike said.
The Staten Island native was able to wed his college sweetheart, Lauren Pesce, two months before his prison sentence began on November 1, 2018.
