Jessica Chastain was in New York City this week to promote her new film Woman Walks Ahead. She stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and showed off her new haircut and two stylish jumpsuits.

Jessica’s new film, Woman Walks Ahead, follows painter, Catherine Weldon, as she goes to North Dakota to paint famed Native American Chief Sitting Bull.

Jessica told The Hollywood Reporter, "When I read the script, I was blown away by the story of Catherine. I love history and I was shocked that I'd never heard about her," she said.

Jessica also switched up her makeup, opting for fuchsia lipstick instead of the pale pink she wore when entering The Late Show.

The famous red head recently stopped by her long-time hair stylist, Renato Campora, for a chop. The star opted for a layered bob, and took to Instagram to share her new do, captioning the pic, “Summer Cut.” Jessica's new film is in select theaters on June 29.
