There’s no such thing as too much pink — just ask Jessica Simpson. The fashion mogul wore head-to-toe pink while arriving at the Buzzfeed office in New York. Jessica, 39, has been busy lately promoting her memoir, Open Book, which is slated to hit bookshelves on February 4.
The Dukes of Hazzard actress donned a hot pink monochromatic outfit, which was reminiscent of Reese Witherspoon’s Legally Blonde role, Elle Woods. She wore wide-legged pants, a jacket with a fur collar, and pink tinted sunglasses. Jessica completed the look with a large hot pink purse and hoop earrings.
Jessica has been especially busy lately promoting her memoir. The bombshell book is expected to be full of new details from past relationships and her struggles with sobriety. She spoke about her marriage with Nick Lachey, kissing Justin Timberlake, a drunken appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and getting body-shamed as a size 4.
Along with her tell-all memoir, Jessica also debuted six songs on February 4. The tunes are the mother of three’s first new music in almost a decade. “The music is actually everything that inspired me to get sober and write the book," she toId Entertainment Tonight. "Because I realized when I was going down into my studio, even though I was in the comfort of my house, I had to drink to numb the pain that I was about to experience to write."

Jessica also mentioned in Open Book that making music was a cathartic experience. "Songwriting takes me to an honest place, and honestly, I was in a dark place," she added. "I just didn't know it until the words came out of me."
The native Texan initially announced her book on July 10, 2019. “I hope that by telling my whole story and not holding back I can help move people to walk through their fears and defeat their challenges, as I am working hard to do every day with mine,” she said at the time. “I hope readers will feel the love, laughter, tears and truth contained in every page.” She also teased her fans with the book cover in December 2019.
