Jill Duggar Ditches Missionary Work To Become A Sorority Girl?

Jill Duggar’s said bye-bye missionary work and hello sorority membership! The Counting On star and her husband, Derick Dillard, have already found a new way to serve in the church just a few weeks after announcing that they’ve stepped away from missionary work. As Duggar fans know, for the past two years the Dillards have taken multiple mission trips to Central America to serve an underprivileged community in El Salvador. However, the Dillard’s are now focusing on the adults of tomorrow, right in their backyard!

Jill and Derick are the newest additions of Cross Church’s College Ministry (C3)!

While Jill did not attend college, the reality star is assisting with the College Ministry’s sorority recruitment. Derick has also been serving the church by assisting with C3’s University of Arkansas Baptist Collegiate Ministry.

Cross Church not only holds a special place in Jill and Derick’s heart because it was where they tied the knot, but also because Jill’s parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, said “I do” there as well.

Jill and Derick announced earlier this month that they would stepping away from missionary work, for the time being, to focus on serving the Lord in their home of Northwest Arkansas.

“Through a number of circumstances, and guided by much prayer and counsel, we are discerning the Lord leading our family’s full-time ministry back to the United States for the time being,” the Dillards wrote on their family website.
