Over the weekend, Jill and her husband, Derick Dillard, celebrated his 29th birthday and it seems Jill really let her hair down (by Duggar standards at least). Jill shared this photo of her rocking a “short” dress that flaunted her toned legs.

Fans were quick to comment their opinions, as the women in Jill’s family adhere to a strict dress code of over-the-knee skirts and dresses only. (Pants are also on the no-no list) “Jill your dress is too short and not drab enough to suit your families approval. J/k,” a fan joked. While another asked, “Do they not follow the same rules they use to Modesty of clothes. As she is wearing a short dress.? She looks great.”

“Honey your dress is way too short,” commented a fan. “I really admire your family and one of the reasons I started watching was because of how wholesome you were and you could tell you did everything for the Lord, even dressed for Him. I actually started changing the way I dressed because of watching your show, but it now seems like the sisters are starting to dress more worldly.”

As OK! readers’ know, this is not the first time Jill has strayed away from her family’s conservative rules. The mom-of-two has been spotted rocking pants, another Duggar no-no, on multiple occasions. She additionally debuted a nose ring in November 2017.
