Former Vice President Joe Biden made his first public appearance at SXSW festival in Texas. Biden spoke up about a new initiative for cancer research and treatment called Cancer Moonshot. The project was sparked after a comment Biden made to President Barack Obama after his son, Beau, died of brain cancer.

It was recently announced that Biden’s son Hunter and his wife are now going to separate amicably. Hunter’s wife accused him of spending the family’s money on drugs, alcohol and debt, making the divorce challenging for both parties.

But in a twisted turn of events, Hunter found refuge in another woman, the widow of his elder brother, Hallie Biden.

Joe spoke about the relationship saying, “We are all lucky that Hunter and Hallie found each other as they were putting their lives together again after such sadness. They have mine and Jill’s full and complete support and we are happy for them.”

Hunter and his ex wife have three children, Finnegan, Maisy and Naomi. Beau and Hallie share two children, Natalie and Hunter. That’s going to be a one big family!
