EGOT winner John Legend has a new gig under his belt. He will be joining NBC's The Voice as a coach for season 16. Keep reading to get all the details on his new endeavor.
Fresh off from his Emmy win earlier this week, John announced that he will be the new coach for the music competition show starting in Spring 2019.
The 39-year-old will take over the job currently held by Jennifer Hudson. She will still be featured in the upcoming season 15.
The father of two simply tweeted today "So excited!" after the news went live.

John said in a statement, "I’m thrilled to join the coaches of The Voice. I’ve been a guest and mentor on the show multiple times and I’m so excited to discover talented singers and help them make the most of their gift. I hope the world is ready for #TeamJL.”
Season 15 of the singing show premieres September 24 on NBC. Hosts that will return include Jennifer, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson and Blake Shelton.
