John Legend Penning Song For New Daughter!

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s soon-to-be-born baby girl won’t have to worry about lullabies, as her dad is a Grammy and Oscar-winning singer/songwriter. John is trying to write a song for his daughter but thinks the inspiration will come after she’s born.

“I’ve definitely been trying to write a song for my daughter,” he told Us Weekly. “It’s hard. Part of me thinks maybe I just have to see her before I can write it, but I’ve been trying to think about what fatherhood means and what I should say to her.”

John, 37, is so excited to be a father and take on the new responsibilities that come along with the role.

“I’m excited to teach her and love her and do all the things that good parents should do,” he said.
