Tell me how you really feel! December 13th may be just another day on the calendar for you, but to John Mayer it’s the “lamest day of the year!”
The “Free Fallin’” singer took a jab at his ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift on Tuesday, tweeting (and then deleting): “Tuesday, December 13 may be the lamest day of the year, conceptually.”
John’s not so subtle shade “coincidentally” fell on the birthday of the country princess herself, T-Swift, and his random (but not so random) tweet came nearly seven years after he and Taylor called it quits.
While the two only dated from November 2009 until February 2010, their short-lived relationship had quite the effect on both parties (case in point, John’s seven-years later shady tweet) as the songstress wrote her hit song, “Dear John,” about their rocky relationship.
Despite John’s tweet, Taylor received lots of love from her celebrity friends and fans alike.
