Osmariel is a Venezuelan TV show host who Juan Pablo met via Instagram. The 28-year-old has competed in multiple beauty pageants, and was even crowned Miss Earth Venezuela in 2011!
According to JP, he decided to follow Osmariel on the photo app after a friend showed him her picture. “I asked, ‘Who’s that girl? She’s cute,’” he revealed to People. “He told me, ‘If you meet her in real life, you’ll die. She’s great!’”
The pair soon exchanged numbers via private message and began dating. “She’s like a female version of me—the Juan Pablo that people know personally, not the TV one!” he said.

Juan Pablo earned himself an infamous reputation among Bachelor nation fans when he infuriated future Bachelorette Andi Dorfman after a night-gone-wrong in their fantasy suite. He also wouldn’t propose to his season’s winner, Nikki Ferrell, and refused to tell her he loved her during a very awkward live After the Final Rose episode. The pair split after seven months of dating.
But three years later, Juan Pablo is finally ready to put his Bachelor behavior behind him! After less than a year of dating, sources close to Juan Pablo say he knows Osmariel is the one. One source claimed the duo are “crazy” for each other and “close to getting engaged.”
“All of Juan’s family and friends love her. They have talked about marriage and both know it’s what they want,” another source told Us Weekly exclusively, adding that Juan Pablo has even already picked out the ring! “She’ll definitely say yes.”
“She cares for people. She’s very family-oriented. That was important to me,” JP, father of eight-year-old Camila Galavis, said. “My daughter loved her right away.”
