Tonight is the Couples Therapy season finale, but don’t expect a happy ending for Nikki Ferrell and Juan Pablo Galavis. The Bachelor couple, who famously did not get engaged during the final rose ceremony, are officially broken up!
The breakup was all but confirmed in late October when Nikki posted a cryptic message on her Instagram page about how she was just wasting her time, but in a recent interview, Nikki revealed that yes, she and Juan Pablo are dunzo, and explained how the split occured in the first place.
“It all played out over a couple of days, right before my birthday,” Nikki, who turned 28 on October 29, said. “We were just going back and forth through texting. He was questioning the relationship and I was questioning it back. I sent him a message saying, ‘We should fight for this. We should work this out.’ And he didn’t respond.”
That's when Nikki posted the Instagram photo, which, she admits, probably wasn't the best idea. Nikki also admitted that she unfollowed JP on Twitter and even deleted his number from her phone!
Fans are not so surprised by this breakup news. Even though it was reported that the couple was “on the road to recovery,” it was clear throughout the season of Couples Therapy that Nikki was not happy and Juan Pablo wasn’t going to make any compromises to make her happy. He never even said “I love you!”
Here’s to hoping the new Bachelor, Chris Soules, has more luck in love than JP did!
