Justin Bieber just left the ultimate trolling comment of Hailey Baldwin’s ex Shawn Mendes’ Instagram page. The “Sorry” singer seemed to admit he’s competitive with the “In My Blood” artist for reasons beyond Shawn being Hailey's former flame.
Shawn, 20, shared the cover of Observer Magazine, which was released on April 7. The magazine dubbed him as the “Prince of Pop.”
That title proved to be offensive to Justin, 25, as he clapped back on Shawn’s Instagram comments and wrote,"Hmm. Gonna have to break a few more records to dethrone my title there bud.”
Justin continued, “But if you want we can play hockey for it, but I heard you’re a real bender on the ice. We could just drop the buckets and tilt for it.”
The “Love Yourself" singer previously got defensive of Hailey, 22, and Shawn’s relationship in March 2019 after fans flipped out because Shawn liked her Instagram picture. “They’re friends relax,” he wrote in the comments section of a Hailey fan account.
Similarly, Shawn admitting there was no feud between him and Justin in July 2018. “I think everybody wants there to be more...there's not,” he said. Although he claimed there’s no feud, he didn’t publicly respond to Justin request to go one-on-one for hockey.
