Justin Bieber put a ring on it, so he’s not too worried about Hailey Baldwin’s exes trying to shoot their shot. Earlier this week, when the model’s rumored ex Shawn Mendes hit “like” on one of her Instagram pictures, Justin took it all in stride.
The 25-year-old Canada native showed his love for his wife by posting a series of her photos to his account.
When Shawn, 20, liked one of the photos, it immediately raised the hackles of many protective fans.
However, Justin jumped in and assured his followers that nothing was happening between his spouse and the “There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back” singer.
“They’re friends relax,” he wrote in the comments section of a Hailey fan account.
Before Justin and Hailey exchanged vows in September 2018 at a New York City courthouse, many speculated there was tons of bad blood between her rumored ex and her husband-to-be.
However, Shawn insisted this wasn’t the case. In July 2018, he revealed he even texted Hailey as soon as he heard she was engaged. "I texted Hailey the day of and I said 'congrats,’” he recalled before adding, “I think everybody wants there to be more...there's not,” he said.
