Is there anything Kanye West can’t do? He surprised wife Kim Kardashian with a Barbie doll modeled after her. Kim told the story on Twitter how she had a deal with Barbie that fell through. But Kanye saved the day and created an exact replica of the doll that the cosmetic mogul was going to have.
Kim tweeted the tale to her followers after a fan sent her a pic of this look that she wore way back in 2011.
“Have the best story about this look! I had a Barbie deal & she was going 2 wear this exact look,” the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star quipped.
The mother of three wrote, “Then the deal got cancelled, the Kim K Barbie would no longer B produced.”
“Kanye knew how sad I was, called Mattel & made all my dreams come true by having my prototype made just 4 me,” she continued.
The rapper contacted Barbie’s parent company Mattel and gifted her an exact replica of what the figurine would have been if the deal followed through. The doll would have been dressed in a short black cocktail dress, Kim’s olive skin and nude high heels.
