Kate Middleton is in hot water with Prince Harry! The royal redhead was hoping to announce his engagement to Meghan Markle any day now, but his sister-in-law’s pregnancy announcement ruined his plans, In Touch magazine reported. As OK! readers know, Kate revealed she was expecting baby number three on September 4. Kate had to announce the news earlier than planned due to her severe morning sickness, hyperemesis gravidarum. And now, she’s forced Harry to push back his own engagement announcement — and his wedding!
“He hoped to officially announce their engagement shortly after they returned from their three-week holiday in Botswana at the end of August,” a source told In Touch exclusively. “But news of Kate’s pregnancy has stalled his plans.”
According to the insider, it’s also pushed back the date of his and Meghan’s wedding! “Harry and Meghan had hoped to marry at Christmastime, but now it’s all up in the air,” the source revealed.
“Kate can’t help but feel guilty,” the insider said. She and Prince William “have apologized to Harry for messing up his plans,” the source explained. “They know how much he wants to get married.”
As OK! readers know, Meghan and Harry have been on the fast track to getting engaged in recent months. In August, the prince took his girlfriend to Africa for a three-week safari!
And according to Us Weekly, Meghan has even met Queen Elizabeth II. “It went well,” a source told the mag, adding, “It’ll no doubt be the first of many encounters.”
