Kate Middleton and Prince William may seem to be living a real-life fairytale with adorable kids Charlotte, 15 months, and George, 3, but behind the scenes their family life is far from picture-perfect!

Though grandkids should bring family members closer together, according to what sources told Life & Style, Kate’s relatives and the royals are more divided than ever!

Carole, Kate’s mom, has grown extremely close to the two tots, leaving their grandfather, Prince Charles, feeling “excluded from Charlotte and George’s lives,” and the royal is “furious” about the whole thing.

It's causing for a major wedge to be drawn between both houses. “Camilla Prince Charles’ wife has always felt that Carole has spent years climbing the social ladder and building a name for her family,” the insider explained. “Excluding them is their way of seeking revenge.”

And poor princess Kate is caught in the middle of it all. “William hates drama so he asked Kate to speak to her mother,” the source further revealed. “Everyone hopes they can put this rift behind them for the sake of the kids.”
