Katy Perry is proving she’s more than just a superstar, she’s also a SUPER friend. She reportedly bought a 7.5 million dollar pad – for her friends and family to use as a guesthouse. The property is in Beverly Hills. Keep reading for more details.
According to reports, Katy dropped the millions on a 4-bedroom home. It’s said to be in the same gated community where Ellen Degeneres and Jennifer Lawrence live.
She’s become quite the real estate expert as she’s trying to sell her own home. In July, she reportedly slashed the price from 9.28 million dollars to 8.95.
The singer also shared some news the same day word got out about her big purchase. Katy revealed on Instagram that she re-recorded “Waiving Through A Window” from Broadway’s Dear Evan Hansen. Her version of the song will help launch the show’s national tour.
As OK! readers know, the “Chained to the Rhythm” singer has been on the east coast lately. On Tuesday, she left the American Idol studios in New York City with her dog in tow.
She’s also been spending lots of time with beau, Orlando Bloom. The two couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they celebrated her 34th birthday. Sources close to the pair tell US Weekly things are going so well for the couple, there may be wedding bells soon.
