Third time’s a charm? Katy Perry and John Mayer were spotted on a dinner date at their friend’s Beverly Hills home on January 4th, sparking rumors that the duo is back together!
Arriving at the home in separate cars, John reportedly headed over to her house after the meal and didn’t leave until 4 p.m. the next day.
When news broke that the former couple reconciled – for the third time! – earlier this week, a source told Us Weekly, “Things just needed to cool down. They aren’t officially back on but talking again.”
But RadarOnline.com reports that the singers are doing a lot more than just talking! A source dished to the website that the couple was “holed up in John’s room at the Four Seasons all day long,” on Wednesday afternoon. An employee at the hotel dished, “They both got on the elevator together on the third floor and got off of the elevator together on the eighth floor. Katy was looking down, like she did not want to be noticed.”

Although the “Dark Horse” singer has been linked to DJ Diplo over the last few months, a source told OK! Magazine that their relationship has been rocky since the birth of his son with ex Kathryn Lockhart in November. “She knows it’s petty, but it bothers Katy that she’s taking a backseat to his other family,” an insider told us.
The “Who You Love” singers were first linked to each other in August 2012, but broke up in March 2013. Perry confirmed that they were back on in July of 2013, but the duo called it quits again in February.
