Kelly Clarkson has conquered reality singing competitions, both as a contestant (American Idol) and a judge (The Voice). She has dominated the music industry for almost twenty years, winning countless awards and selling millions of records in the process. Now the "Miss Independent" singer has a new career idea in mind... her own daytime talk show! Get the scoop on five things you should know about it ahead of time right here.
Entertainment Tonight exclusively revealed that she shot the pilot for her daytime talk show at NBC Universal Studios in Los Angeles on Friday.
An observer said that her show is dressed to look like the inside of a barn, with string lights decorating the set and wooden beams with gold records on the wall. The show's band was set up in the corner.
She started the taping with a Cardi B cover (was it "Bodak Yellow" or "I Like It"?). This will be a common theme in every episode, where she will do her own rendition of a popular song.

Her first celebrity guests included Chloe Grace Moretz, Josh Groban and Terry Crews. She also featured a group of quilting ladies from North Carolina, a homeless shelter employee and a couple who was having trouble in the bedroom.
Her show also featured games, singing segments and interviews that ranged from silly to sentimental. "She's definitely still Kelly," the observer noted.
Kelly also had the support of her husband, Brandon Blackstock, and their two children: daughter River, 4, and son Remington, there for the taping. A source told ET earlier this week that the show is slated for a fall 2019 release. It's part of her overall deal with NBC, which includes her returning to the judge's chair on The Voice.
