Brooklyn’s big debut happened in the latest edition of PEOPLE. She playfully rested next to mommy Kenya during their adorable photoshoot.

Kenya has shared some glimpses of Brooklyn since giving birth to her on November 4th, much to her fans frustrations as they wanted to get a peek of her cute face.

The new mother gushed over her newborn, telling PEOPLE, "I finally have everything I’ve dreamed of.” She also said Brooklyn is “perfect in every way” and called her a “little angel.”

The former Miss USA ran into several obstacles on her way to becoming a mom, and her pregnancy was not easy. She revealed that the doctors couldn’t see the baby’s skeleton during her first ultrasound and wondered if she had a false pregnancy.

Another visit had physicians worried that she was having an ectopic tubal pregnancy that would need to be terminated. “There were so many scares along the way,” Kenya said. “We held our breath every time we went to the doctor.”

Kenya and her husband Marc Daly had to endure other frightening moments, including her being tested positive for preeclampsia in late October, gaining 17 pounds in one week, and her blood pressure skyrocketing.

Kenya’s delivery was a nightmare as well. She had to have an emergency C-section, which took three hours. During the operation, the RHOA star was cut twice due to fibroids being in the way: both horizontally and vertically.

It was all worth it in the end, as Kenya and Marc are thrilled to be first-time parents. “We’re so in love,” she exclaimed. “Everything that could have gone wrong did go wrong. But she’s such a tough baby; so determined. And every step of the way, she kept surviving and getting stronger. She’s my miracle baby. There’s no other way to describe it, she’s my miracle baby.”
