Rumors of Erinn’s departure from the show first began over the weekend, when news emerged that Leah was hired as a series regular. Kevin’s former longtime King of Queens co-star played his cop character’s ex-partner on the season finale of Kevin Can Wait.

Erinn eventually confirmed she’d be leaving Kevin Can Wait, tweeting, “True, I've been let go from the show. Very sad, I had a great experience season 1. Thank you for all the support from our wonderful fans.”
