They may share an extremely famous ex, but Kevin Federline has revealed that he and his ex-wife Britney Spears’ former sweetie Justin Timberlake are still friends years after they split from the music icon.
As we all remember, Timberlake and Spears were one of Hollywood’s hottest couples when they began dating back in 1999. But the pop stars ultimately parted ways, with Timberlake famously blasting Spears in his hit track “Cry Me A River” off his debut album Justified -- and the video even featured a Spears look-alike!
Spears quickly moved on, though, eventually falling in love with Federline and marrying the backup dancer in 2004. They had a tumultuous three-year marriage that came to an end in 2007. And the couple shares two sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.
Federline and Timberlake caused quite the divide among Spears’ fans during her time with the fellas. However, Federline now says that he and Timberlake remain on good terms and have even spent some together since both moving on from their mutual ex.
"We’re cool. Me and J are. I actually just went to his last show in Vegas and hung out with him, got to see a lot of old friends," Federline told Us Weekly. "I’m friends with all the security guys. They're great, they’re incredible. We’ve actually - guys that work with him have worked with us and still work with me, still to this day. You know everybody, you’re friends with everybody. And yeah, me and J are cool."

He added, "My best friend is his choreographer so we have mutual friends, and I mean, we’ve gone out golfing, we’ve hung out. You get older, you grow up, and you realize that was just a time in your life. Sh-t happens."
Timberlake has since gone on to marry actress Jessica Biel, with the couple recently welcoming their first child together, their son, Silas Randall. Federline has also found new love in his wife of three years, Victoria Prince. They have two daughters together, and he also has a daughter and a son with his ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson. But hey, at least Timberlake and K. Fed are still keeping things cordial!
