Khloe Kardashian may not have been married to Tristan Thompson, but she dishes all about the struggles of co-parenting with her cheating baby daddy on the Divorce Sucks podcast! In a preview for the May 20 episode, she tells host Laura Messer how she keeps it together for their 1-year-old daughter True. Scroll for more.
“It does f**king suck. It does. And there are moments because our personal emotions are still in there,” Khloe, 35, admitted.
She continued, “For me, Tristan and I broke up not too long ago so it’s really raw. Those emotions can be heightened at times.” The couple split in February after the NBA star hooked up with Kylie Jenner’s former BFF Jordyn Woods. He also cheated on her days before their daughter True was born in April 2018.
Khloe explained, “True is one so she doesn’t really know what’s happening but to me, she does know and she feels energy. I’m a big believer of that so I do everything in my power to not put any sort of heavy energy around her. Maybe that sounds a little bohemian to some people.”
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star invited Tristan to their daughter’s first birthday bash, only two months after he cheated. She admitted the main reason she extended the invite is because she knows "that she’s going to want to look back at her childhood memories like we all do.”

The Revenge Body star said, “Me and my sisters will sit on the floor looking through old photo albums talking. We don’t remember, we remember what our parents told us, and we act like we remember every single thing from that photo. I want to give her the same thing.”
Khloe’s mom, Kris Jenner, and her dad, the late Robert Kardashian, divorced in 1991, however, the family speaks highly of their parent’s ability to co-parent. Kourtney cited her parent's amicable divorce as her example on how to co-parent with her baby daddy, Scott Disick, in a video she did for Poosh.com.
Despite the public cheating scandal, Khloe said, “Her dad is a great person. I know how much he loves her and cares about her, so I want him to be there.”
