Kim Kardashian kicked off the weekend by stirring up a little drama! On Friday, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a photo of Caitlyn Jenner pre-transition, and fans are wondering if the pic is meant to throw shade at her former stepdad.
“TGIF,” Kim captioned a pic of Cait pre-transition sitting on the ledge of a bathtub in a silk robe and holding a glass of champagne, while Kim’s mom Kris Jenner sat in the tub surrounded by bubbles.
Fans were quick to comment on the pic and accuse the mom-of-three of throwing shade at Cait! “Is she throwing shade?” one fan wrote, while another confirmed, “It’s real shady if you ask me lol.”
“What happened? Why this pic? Don’t get it,” another fan commented.
While Kim was supportive of Caitlyn when she underwent her transition in 2015, she later cut ties with the Olympian after she claimed in her book, Secrets of My Life, that Kris knew more about her gender identity crisis than she let on.
Caitlyn also wrote that Kim’s father, Robert Kardashian, thought his friend O.J. Simpson was guilty of killing his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman but acted as his defense attorney anyway. “If you talk about my dad, I will cut you,” Kim said of Cait during an episode of KUWTK. Caitlyn recently revealed that she and Kim haven’t spoken in a year.
