After an unsuccessful IVF attempt in 2016, Maria Menounos revealed that she's now trying to conceive via surrogacy — and she's getting help from her friend Kim Kardashian. Read on for more details.
"Miss Kim K. has connected me with all of her people," Maria, 40, told Us Weekly. The TV host announced the big news at the JEEP Wrangler Celebrity Customs Reveal Event in Los Angeles. She and hubby Kevin Undergaro were going to attempt to have a child "once we get back" from a trip to Greece, Maria explained.
Maria and Kevin have been together since 1998. They married in December last year, after a stressful year for the actress. She had a benign brain tumor removed last summer. It's also beek a rocky 2018 for Maria, as she lost her beloved dog in February.
It's good that Maria has support when it comes to surrogacy, and Kim would be the perfect person to go to. The mogul welcomed her third child, Chicago, with Kanye West via surrogacy earlier this year. The 37-year-old had suffered complications with her two previous pregnancies.

Kim has admitted in the past that she found surrogacy to be stressful. "Anyone that says or thinks it is just the easy way out is just completely wrong," the reality TV star said. "I think it is so much harder to go through it this way, because you are not really in control."
"And, you know, obviously you pick someone that you completely trust and that you have a good bond and relationship with, but ... knowing that I was able to carry my first two babies and not my baby now, it's hard for me," she continued. "So, it's definitely a harder experience than I anticipated just in the control area."
