Shereé Whitfield is fueling the talk about Kim Zolciak and NeNe Leakes’ rumored returns to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the show’s ninth season after she posted a cute throwback photo with her fellow RHOA originals!
Whitfield uploaded an image to her Instagram over the weekend of herself and the rest of RHOA’s first five original cast members — Zolciak, Leakes, Lisa Wu and DeShawn Snow!
But it is the timing of the post that raised a few eyebrows among RHOA fans, seeing that Zolciak and Leakes have been recently facing reports that they may be making major RHOA comebacks for the show’s upcoming Season 9.
A source told RadarOnline.com that Leakes is already in talks with Bravo to rejoin RHOA full-time after taking a break from the show during Season 8. “NeNe is not dumb. She does exactly what needs to be done on RHOA,” the source said. “She is not afraid to fight with anyone and her take on every story is what the fans want. No one cares about the random ladies on the show. NeNe is the one they tune in to watch. So she will be back, earning the big bucks and laughing all the way to the bank.”
And Zolciak hinted during the RHOA Season 8 reunion show that she was open to giving the reality show another run, sparking speculation that she may be a part of the rumored Season 9 cast shakeup!
Whitfield’s fans are also pushing for the RHOA favorite to reclaim her peach full-time on the show as well — which would be an exciting follow-up to her successful return to the series for Season 8.
However, Whitfield’s latest RHOA Instagram post remains only a cryptic hint that some serious RHOA cast changes may be in the works as the Season 9 countdown continues!
