The reality TV star has never been shy about revealing details about herself—including recently when she dished to Sheree Whitfield that Kandi Burruss tried to seduce her. That was a lot.
But yesterday the 39-year-old took to her Instagram to drop another little tidbit on her 2 million followers—about her hair, which she revealed she just got done yesterday so she was showing off a pic.
She began, “I get asked this a lot! YES I color my real hair! This is all my own hair and I'm about 75% gray.”

She apparently has gone to great lengths to maintain her signature blonde locks, too. She continued, “@hairby_chrissyhas to color my hair EVERY month! Or at least my roots!!”
But Kim also admitted to ditching all the effort sometimes and throwing on one of her favorite wigs, writing “If I'm not filming (and even then I don't) I don't wear a wig I run around with my own hair! Wigs are just easier and I love the versatility! MY OWN WIG LINE IS COMING VERY SOON!”
