Mama bear doesn’t play when it comes to her cubs! On Sunday, October 27, Kourtney Kardashian shared pictures of a weekend getaway with her children to Santa Ynez, California. After a fan made a nasty remark regarding her son Reign’s hair, Kourtney, 40, proved that she is not one to be messed with.
In the photographs, Reign, 4, wore his blonde tresses free as he posed next to a horse. After seeing the photos, one follower noted that Kourtney “really needed to cut his hair.” Shortly after, Kourtney fired back. "She really need to not worry about kids that aren't her own,” she wrote. “He is a happy boy.”
Kourt’s supermodel friend Bella Hadid praised the reality star for her comment. “This made me so happy,” Bella, 23, wrote.
Kourtney’s natural instinct to defend her child comes from years of experience being a mother. The Poosh.com founder shares three children with Scott Disick including two sons Mason, 9, and 4-year-old Reign. They also have a daughter Penelope, 7.
Throughout the years, Kourtney and Scott, 36, have learned to coparent in a way that works for them. On the October 6 episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Scott struggled with finding a way to make his current girlfriend Sofia Richie, 21, and Kourtney comfortable while on a family trip to Finland. Scott admitted that his main goal on the vacation was to be aware of everyone’s feelings.
“Traveling with a family like this is a unique situation that not everyone does. I definitely think this trip, out of the other trips we’ve been on, has a little bit more pressure because the truth of the matter is, there are camera crews everywhere,” the Talentless creator explained. “Tons of people walking around that Kourtney and I have known for over 10 years. Sofia has never really done anything like this before. It’s hard. I don’t want her to feel out of place, I don’t want her to feel like she’s not as comfortable as I am. I’m just trying to be cautious of everyone’s feelings.”
Towards the end of the episode, Kourtney confessed to Scott that he shouldn’t overthink things and learn to be in the moment. “I think you put so much pressure on things to make everything perfect,” she said to him. “I don’t even mind if you and Sofia go off and do your thing, but if you’re in it, let’s enjoy what’s happening.”
