Rob Kardashian has had quite a turbulent past year. But according to a source speaking to RadarOnline.com, the situation has gotten so troubling that his own mother, Kris Jenner, attempted to trick him into visiting a rehab center in Malibu, California!

“Kris took Rob to a facility in Malibu last year at night for a tour. She did it at night so the press wouldn’t know about it,” the insider revealed. “She assured him that there was no pressure to enroll, but Rob felt ambushed and got very angry.”

The source added, “He had a friend come pick him up, and then he disappeared for three days. When he surfaced days later at Khloé’s house, Rob didn’t want to talk about even going to rehab.”

Rob has reportedly been struggling with depression and an addiction to Sizzurp and weed, and the source said his sister Khloe Kardashian is now urging him to get help.

“Khloe wants Rob to go to Betty Ford because of the stellar reputation of the facility. She knows Rob can’t be forced to go, so until that time, all she can do is support him,” the insider said.

Rob’s sister Kim Kardashian also recently spoke out about his personal troubles, telling Today that she thinks their sister Khloe’s split from her husband, Lamar Odom, may have played a role in Rob’s downward spiral.

“I don’t necessarily think it’s because of the fame. I think it’s been circumstances in his life that he just really hasn’t dealt with,” Kim said when asked if she felt Rob’s problems were caused by his fame. She added, “Whether it's, you know, the loss of our father, or certain breakups, or, you know, he was extremely close to Lamar and when Khloe and him broke up, that was really hard on him.
