Kim Kardashian has her go-to glam guru Makeup By Mario, and now Kylie Jenner has her own, too! But Kylie’s story of how she met her personal makeup artist, Makeup by Ariel, is a millennial love tale.
In an interview with Buzzfeed, Ariel Tejada, 20, said he was approached by the youngest Kardashian-Jenner through Instagram!
“Kylie DM’d me herself on Instagram and told me, ‘Next time you’re in town, let’s work together,’” Tejada said.
But according to the makeup artist, he lied about when he would be in Los Angeles next. “I didn’t even have a flight booked or anything.”
After their first session, Ariel said Kylie “was obsessed with the makeup” and asked “‘Can I keep you?’” the young professional dished. He also does makeup for Kylie’s bestie, Pia Mia, as well as her big sister, Kendall, and Kardashian look-alike Naya Rivera!

However, Tejada revealed that Kylie’s biggest assets—her lips!—are off limits because “she likes to line her own lips.”
