Lady Gaga was on the edge of glory…and unfortunately the edge of the stage. During the October 17 performance of her Las Vegas residency show, Enigma, the “Born This Way” songstress was lifted by a fan, who slipped and fell off the stage, and took the pop star with him.

Lady Gaga, 33, invited one of the audience members onstage at the Park Theater at Park MGM, and the overeager concertgoer picked the “Bad Romance” singer up. She then wrapped her legs around his waist, and the fan hopped along the edge of the stage.
However, during these hops, the concertgoer stumbled and fell right off the side of the elevated platform and into the audience, taking Lady Gaga with him.
Several fans shared videos of the incident at different angles. The A Star is Born actress hit the ground and the fan fell on top of her as the shocked audience gasped and screamed. However, Lady Gaga got right back up and continued her performance with the help of security guards.
"Everything's OK," the American Horror Story actress told her audience in the aftermath. "The only thing that's not OK is we need some stairs for the damn stage so I can get back up." Lady Gaga then consoled the fan that was visibly upset with a hug. “Could you promise me something? Could you forgive yourself right now for what just happened?"
Lady Gaga then sang “Million Reasons” with the fan at her side. "It's amazing," she said. "We love each other so much we fell off the damn stage. We fell into each other's arms. We're like Jack and Rose from Titanic.”
After the concert, Lady Gaga shared an Instagram gallery that documented her post-show routine. “Ice bath for 5-10 min, hot bath for 20, then compression suit packed with ice packs for 20,” she captioned the update. Whether or not the “Poker Face” songstress or fan sustained any significant injuries is unclear.
Lady Gaga’s Las Vegas residency show, Enigma, opened in December 2018 and will run until May 2020 at the Park Theater at Park MGM.
