Lady Gaga and her fiancé have officially ended their engagement, her rep confirmed to People February 19. The news comes after eagle-eyed fans noticed that she had stopped wearing her engagement ring.
One fan on Twitter noted, “She wasn’t wearing her ring at the Grammys and there’s nothing about him today for Valentine’s Day.” Her ringless appearance came as a shock however, Gaga, 32, also didn’t mention her fiancé for Valentine’s Day.
Instead, she attributed the day to a new rose tattoo she got on her back for one of her favorite songs, “La Vie En Rose.”
Fans also noticed Gaga isn’t following Christian, 50, on Instagram anymore although he follows her. A source told E! News the couple split up last week but that he is “desperately trying to get back together.” He last posted a photo of the “Born This Way” singer on February 5.
Another source told the outlet that Gaga not wearing her wedding ring was nothing to worry about. "She just wasn't wearing her ring due to performing," the source said. "They have put all their wedding plans on hold until after Gaga's busy season, but still plan to get married this year."
The last time Gaga and Christian were seen on the red carpet together was the 2019 SAG Awards on January 27, where they packed on the PDA and the singer had on her engagement ring.
