Lamar Odom Has No Idea Why He’s In The Hospital And Other Sad Revelations About His Mental State

Khloe Kardashian is promoting her new book, but during an interview on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, she revealed a lot of sad facts about her husband Lamar Odom’s state right now.

“It’s really awkward to be promoting a book but, you know, my heart and my mind are in the hospital with somebody else,” Kardashian, 31, said.

According to Kardashian, the 36-year-old is off all of the machines to keep his organs working but “still has a long way to go.”

However, after being in a coma for three days following a drug overdose at a Las Vegas brothel, he doesn’t know his own age, despite having celebrated his birthday on Nov. 6.

Odom also has no clue how he wound up in the hospital in the first place. “We tell him that he had a brain injury, but we can’t tell him how that brain injury was caused, because that will set him back.”

Kardashian said he “never asks why” he’s in the hospital after being found unconscious on Oct. 13.

But aside from not being able to ask, Khloe said that Lamar is actually having a tough time putting words together at all and has to learn how to feed himself again.

“He’s learning how to walk again and feed himself again and put sentences together and cognitively,” she said. “He couldn’t put a lot of words together today but he understands.”
