Lauren Conrad may look like she has it all. She's a doting mother, wife, author, and fashion designer. But she revealed to Redbook magazine that people often have a major misconception about her. Keep reading to find out what it is.
The 32-year-old admitted that her life is a bit out of whack right now, even though people believe she has it all together effortlessly.
“It’s really funny to me when people have this idea that I have things very put together. My life is a bit of a mess, and I don’t broadcast that, but I like it that way."
The mother of one said, "I like to focus on the prettier parts of life, but that doesn’t necessarily represent all of it. I feel bad. There’s such a high standard now to do everything and have it all look picture perfect.”
The Hills alum feels pressure to make her life look perfect on social media and she has spent many years of her life striving for perfection. “You’re not going to enjoy the pretty things if you’ve been up all night doing them. Your life isn’t supposed to be Pinterest,” she continued.
“I had to learn to delegate. If you can focus on the areas where you know can’t be replaced and bring in help in the areas you can, that’s where you find success.” Looks like Lauren is trying to find a balance to keep her life running smoothly.
