Leah Messer is finally in a positive place after receiving shared custody of her twin daughters. But not everything is perfect for the Teen Mom 2 star, as she recently split from boyfriend T.R. Dues. How is the mother-of-three holding up after the split?
Just fine! Leah updated fans on how she’s doing with a silly selfie! “#Happy #Healthy #Mommy,” she captioned the photo. “Don’t mind my faces, just being fun. I don’t know if I could ever be boring. Haha. Always gotta be doing something silly.”
In February, the personal trainer revealed that he split from the single mother. “If she says she’s single, then she’s single,” he told RadarOnline.com. “I just see her every now and then.”
Leah split from T.R. because she hoped it would help win back custody of her twins. “Leah knows it doesn’t look good for her to have a new man in the house already,” the source said. “She wants to look like a stable single mom to the judge in order for her to get her girls back.”
After her ex-husbands Corey Simms and Jeremy Calvert accused her of having an addiction to drugs, she entered rehab in the spring for stress and depression. While in rehab, she finalized her divorce from Jeremy. In the fall, she lost custody of her twins to Corey before winning 50/50 custody in January.
